Dear Friends,
Annual General Meeting 2010
You are most warmly invited to our AGM on Monday 24 May in the Eurythmy Studio at the Glasshouse College, Stourbridge, 7.30 pm.
After the short business meeting we will share with you the present situation and the new concept of the Eurythmy Training. As you know, after much work from Shaina we are now fully accredited by Edexcel through Crossfields Institute to award a BA degree equivalent; we are BAC Accredited; we are an UKBA recognised Sponsor — non-EU students can apply for visas.
This year all the students show their work on Saturday 19th June, 7.30 pm, in the Studio Theatre. This includes the 4th-year graduation performance.
All the other students with the 4th-years are involved in a Spanish fairytale “The Girl who became a Fish”. This fairytale will be performed on Saturday 26th June, 11.00 am, in the Glasshouse Studio Theatre. The previous week the whole school tours through Ireland with the fairytale and the graduation programme.
The 4th-years take part in the 7th Eurythmy Festival in Witten, Germany (11—15 May), which involves pupils, students, and professionals. Our new graduates take their full programme to other venues in the UK in June. They perform on 30th June in Dornach as part of the 4th-year Eurythmy Festival, where they will also meet their future colleagues from other eurythmy centres worldwide.
The stage-group perform “The Tale of Harap Alb”, a story from Rumania, on Saturday 12 June, 11 am, in the Glasshouse Studio. Maren’s solo programme “Water Islands” celebrating English poetry with music by Debussy will be premiered on 4th August in Dornach, during the English week; the UK premiere takes place during the August Conference in Rudolf Steiner House, London.
Looking forward to welcoming you at this AGM!
With all best wishes,
Alan Stott
