Post-graduate stage-work

Stage Project for Young Graduates

September 2011—Summer 2012

Requests from keen graduates to develop the performing art of eurythmy can now be met. West Midlands Eurythmy, Stourbridge UK, offers a new stage-project lasting at least one year, from Autumn 2011.

The aim is to develop creativity through exploring the unlimited possibilities of this expressive art. Essential progress depends on researching the richness of the basic elements of eurythmy. Our emphasis is on eurythmy in English and the essence of sound and silence as well as questions of style. There are opportunities to direct, form programmes, explore staging, stage lighting and costumes. Tours of the UK, Europe and farther afield, depending on commitment.

During refurbishment of the new theatre (350 seats) due for completion in 2012, we rehearse in local studios 3 days a week. This offers the chance for part-time work alongside building-up a core-group.
